Hello, I’m John. I understand the struggle.
I'm a fervent advocate for healthy living and overcoming emotional eating. Over the past decade, I've worked with numerous clients as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Solution Focused Coach, Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher, and Breathwork Instructor. Can I progress through the program at my own speed?
We understand that life can be busy, so our 8-week format is designed to offer flexibility. We recommend sticking to the 8-week schedule as it's proven to keep you focused and deliver maximum benefits. However, you'll have access to the program for at least 12 months, so there's no need to worry if you fall behind. You can always resume when you're ready.
Do I need to meditate?
For optimal results, yes. The Food Freedom Program includes daily meditation-based practices ranging from 15-30 minutes, depending on your capacity. It's more than just meditation. Each practice is a specially designed training exercise that combines meditation with neuroplasticity training and other evidence-based methods. This daily practice is crucial for creating the lifelong shifts in your relationship with food that the Food Freedom Program can provide.
I've found meditation challenging in the past. Can I still participate in the program?
Absolutely. It's not uncommon for people to find meditation difficult initially. Remember, any skill, from learning to swim to playing an instrument, requires practice. Be patient and commit to trying it for 8 weeks to get the hang of it. If you need extra support, I'll be available on coaching calls to help you gain confidence and become comfortable with these daily exercises.
I have a mental health challenge.
Can I still join the Food Freedom Program? In most cases, the program is still beneficial for those with mental health challenges. Your well-being and safety are my top priorities. Depending on the severity of your challenge, I recommend discussing with your licensed health provider to ensure this program is suitable for you. For those experiencing chronic depression, severe anxiety, PTSD, or a history of trauma, it's crucial that you consult your licensed therapist before joining. Meditation can be contraindicated for some of these conditions depending on the severity. I recommend working with them throughout the program to ensure you stay strong and safe.
Will I have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the program?
